The modWASTE version is currently not in official Beta, however you can get v1.3c (NONAME) and our Daily Builds of v1.4 Beta.
WASTE Runs natively on Windows, and a port to Mac OSX has also been completed (and is availible here).
WASTE has been tested under Wine for Linux (Debian), and works fine. It has not been tested under other Linux distros.
